On December 20, 2011, due to various weather problems, the infamous UW Husky Stadium began renovation. Various college events happen at the University of Washingtion's Husky Stadium. The new stadium is said to have 71,900 seats including a few parking garages-- which is highly needed in the U District!Before the renovation, the previous stadium faced Lake Washington and the Evergreen floating bridge. Various university events were held, including the Apple Cup a college football game between the University of Washington (UW) and their rivals Washington State University (WSU).
