If you are visiting the Microsoft campus in Redmond, not too far away is a restaurant called Five Guys, a popular chain restaurant in the east coast. These burgers are huge, but best eaten when served. Do not eat it 10 minutes after because the burger will taste like wet tasteless cardboard. Its best to eat in and enjoy the burger with a side of fries and a cup of soda, and of course munching on some free peanuts! The restaurant has a family friendly atmosphere, but at times it can get a little crowded. There are no waiters to point you to a table, similar style with McDonalds. If you are coming with friends or family have someone save a spot before ordering.Five Guys is located on the Bellevue-Redmond border in the Overlake Plaza on 15011 North East 24th Street, Redmond, WA 98052.Seattle also has some burger places, but one in particular is out of this world. Red Mill Burgers has been featured on Travel Channel's Man vs. Food, and it is truly a great burger joint in Seattle. The burgers here are absolutely delicious, words cannot describe the mouth watery goodness when one bits into a burger. The picture on the left shows one of the two locations in Seattle, and the structure is similar with Five Guys; where you order at the counter. Again it is best to come with friends or family to get a seat, or order out. Of course all burgers taste better hot and fresh! If you are in the Seattle area--this is a must stop before you leave!
If you plan to travel to the capital of Washington State, you should stop by the Burger Claim. This is a theme restaurant set to be a mining area. As soon as you step in you walk in a hallway lined up with potato bags from local farms (at least you know where they came from!). The atmosphere is very family friendly, but even if you do not come with a friend or family these burgers are to die for! Order your burger as a meal because when you receive your order they come with a heaping handful of delicious mouth watering fresh cut french fries. It is foolish if you order a hotdog at the Burger Claim since you are going to miss the wonderful burger sensation, after all it is called the Burger Claim. Best of all, the Burger Claim is located right next to Washington's only indoor water park The Great Wolf Lodge.
